In 2006 Glenvale launched their own football academy for kids KICKABOUT. This has helped the club grow at an incredible speed. With the help of qualified coaches the club were able to enter teams within the Paisley and District youth leagues. These teams are now competing within the many age groups entered. The club are presently trying to fill the 1997 and 1999 age groups. This would mean when we celebrate 50 years in 2017, the club will have teams at every age group.

Glenvale have now established links with local professional clubs. We encourage our players to step up to pro-youth level if the opportunity arises. St Mirren and Rangers have signed Glenvale players for pro youth, while we currently have players training within the Kilmarnock and Celtic pro youth set ups. We wish all these players the very best for the future.

In  recent times,Glenvale 1990 age group managed to win The 19s League cup and also winning The Paisley cup. The 1992 age group were also League cup winners. 1996 age group travelled to Holland at easter 2011 and won the Den Bosch cup. The 1998s won the Goldenhill Cup pre season 2011

Glenvale have teams at the following age groups, 1996, 1998, 2000,2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
The clubs football academy KICKABOUT accepts kids born from 2006.
Training takes place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights at Ferguslie Sports Centre in Paisley, when Glenvale take over the complex with an impressive array of footballing talent.
